πŸ“… December 5, 2025 β€” Free Weekly Newsletter w/ Ms. G, J.D.

There is a lot to cover this week.

I only did 1 National, and 1 Louisiana Leauxdown headline breakdown; mainly, because my home of Louisiana is now national news for reasons I am not proud of.

First, below is a your weekly recap of all #24in24 Posts for the last week.

Every night for the last few weeks, I have scoured various media sources for headlines.

NYTimes, WaPo, Reuters, Politico, Guardian, Ground News, Rawstory, The Daily Beast, Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, Democracy Docket, ABC, NBC, CBS, NPR, Axios, PBS β€” to name a few; I start usually with a list of 70+; by morning, I’ve narrowed down to 24.

Reading this list daily, makes it more digestible for people; so I have stuck with it. I started it for me; I continue it - for us; and for history.

I WILL NEVER FORGET THIS. I NEVER WANT TO.

As promised, here is your weekly recap of all #24in24s for the week; all in one place.

Just click the photo, it will take you to the FB Post; the sources for each of the news articles are in the comments.

Take a VERY … DEEP … BREATH.

β€” βœ¨β€Maybe, this is the first step of rebuilding β€” not from innocence, but from awareness...

πŸ”—Navy admiral tells lawmakers there was no β€˜kill all’ order from Hegseth in boat attack

πŸ”—Admiral saw alleged drug boat strike survivors as legitimate targets

Adm. Frank β€œMitch” Bradley told lawmakers he never received a β€œkill them all” order as Congress, after viewing footage of 2 stranded, shirtless survivors being killed in a follow-up missile strike, escalated its investigation into DJT’s legally disputed military campaign against alleged Venezuelan drug boats. Bradley says he deemed the 2 survivors of the Sept. 2 drug-boat strike to be legitimate narco-terrorist targets based on their alleged post-strike communications with a β€œmothership.” See more.

🧠 Ms. G’s Teaser Take: Two shipwrecked survivors killed by a U.S. missile strike β€” and Congress never declared war: is this a LEGAL military operation or a WAR CRIME?. Let’s talk about it… β†’ πŸ”’

⚜️ LOUISIANA LEAUXDOWN (Free Preview)

Because I'm a daughter of New Orleans, this newsletter will always hold space for home. Here's a quick legal update from the Bayou State:

πŸ”— Young Marrero mother, a US citizen, recalls being chased by Border Patrol in viral confrontation

πŸ”— Kenner police block cars from following Border Patrol Commander Gregory Bovino and his agents

DHS said Border Patrol agents mistakenly chased a Marrero (suburbs of Nola) woman during a targeted immigration sweep, but her family disputes the account and says agents never identified themselves; she was one of several US Citizens β€˜mistakenly’ targeted in under 3 days.

Kenner (suburbs of Nola) police briefly blocked roads so Border Patrol chief Gregory Bovino and his agents could break away from about 30 cars following and filming their operations, after crowds trailed and confronted them during searches in local neighborhoods. See more.

🧠 Ms. G’s Teaser Take: I was born and raised 15 minutes from either of these locations, that’s first; second, the history and data show they don’t gaf if they are right or not in the moment β€” they will violate you first, and figure out if you’re legal later β€” and EVERYONE is β€˜the worst of the worst,’ by their logic. Let me explain...
